This course is designed for beginner traders looking to learn the fundamentals of trading and technical analysis. We encourage all those who have completed our beginner level at the SUSA Academy of Trading and Investment to register and build substantial knowledge on the topics listed below. The program spans 10 weeks, with each week focusing on specific topics and practical sessions.
Participants will engage in live sessions, live training, and continuous reviews. The curriculum includes comprehensive coverage of the essentials every trader needs to succeed. By the end of this course, participants will have developed the skills necessary to achieve consistent profitability in their trading endeavours, setting this programme apart with its sophisticated content and practical application

I’m Mahdi Soleimani, and my journey in financial markets began in 2019 with an introduction to the world of cryptocurrencies. After gaining a strong foundation through structured training and consistent practice, I transitioned to Forex, where I have been trading professionally since 2021.
Since 2022, I have been sharing my knowledge through teaching technical analysis and trading strategies in group and private settings at various institutions. These sessions, tailored for individuals ranging from beginners to advanced traders, have not only enhanced my teaching expertise but also deepened my insights into market dynamics.
From the outset, I was less interested in the allure of quick, astronomical profits that often dominate the narrative. Instead, I was driven by a desire to understand the underlying mechanics of price movements and chart behavior. Through exploring a variety of methodologies and trading styles, I distilled valuable insights that allowed me to develop a personalized and effective trading strategy.

Trader/Analyzer Degree
Upon successful completion of this programme, participants will be awarded the Trader/Analyzer degree at SUSA Academy of Trading and Investment. Graduates will possess solid foundational knowledge in trading and market analysis, enabling them to make informed and strategic trading decisions.

How Will I Learn?
Learning in the Trader/Analyzer degree is conducted through a combination of supervised and independent study. Trading is a practical discipline that benefits from significant hands-on experience, but it cannot be mastered through theory alone.
Teaching involves a blend of theoretical instruction and live practice sessions. Our approach encourages critical thinking and fosters curiosity. By the time you reach the later stages of the program, you will manage more of the practical elements independently, particularly in relation to your individual trading projects.

Lectures: These direct you towards the most important topics in trading and allow discussion and clarification of areas of uncertainty with expert staff.
Tutorials: Staff are available to help with problem-solving exercises and strategy refinement.
Private study is essential to achieving the learning outcomes and is guided by both summative coursework tasks set during the academic year. Your private study is also supported using an online learning environment, which provides access to module content, feedback, guidance on completing coursework, and audio-visual resources.
What type of assessment and feedback can I expect?
There will be a series of assignments for participants following the sessions marked with an asterisk (*) in the schedule above. Completion of all assignments is mandatory. Each assignment will be graded on a pass/fail basis, and students will have the opportunity to resubmit their work once if they do not pass initially. However, if a student fails more than three assignments on their first attempt, they will not be able to continue with the program and will be withdrawn.
Assessment criteria
Assessment Criteria are descriptions of the skills, knowledge or attributes you need to demonstrate in order to complete an assessment successfully and Grade-Related Criteria are descriptions of the skills, knowledge or attributes you need to demonstrate to achieve a certain grade or mark in an assessment. Assessment Criteria and Grade-Related Criteria for module assessments will be made available to you prior to an assessment taking place. More information will be available from the module leader.
Feedback on assessment:
Students will expect to receive feedback on their assessment no later than 3 days after the assessment. In this programme you will be helped to learn more effectively by receiving feedback on your performance in the tutorial sessions.
